Born and raised in Brussels/Overijse (Belgium), I attended the youth art studio 2 afternoons a week from the age of 7.
Through a teacher - artist, I entered art secondary education, in Brussels.
After graduating from St. Luke's in Brussels (art secondary school), I followed a year of applied graphics (= graphic design).
To combine my creativity more with the social, after the year of graphic design, I followed, and completed, the free school pabo.
After a few years of teaching at the free school in Belgium, I lived in 3 different countries. Including 4 years with the family in Norway.
I now live in the Netherlands for 11 years, and paint in a nice studio in Hoofddorp. Where my creativity and expression come to life.
Some of my works reflect the impressions of living in different natural and cultural areas.
Playing with colours and exploring boundaries is always a fun and fascinating journey.
But also exploring and working with very different materials.
Also how colours can enhance and change each other.
And the exchange while creating: what will I add, and what does the work itself demand?
It's nice when others can also enjoy the exploration through my paintings and artworks.
