Servus and welcome,
my name is Thomas Prechtl, I come from the south of Bavaria, near the Alps. Already since young years I love to go to the mountains and to use the various sport possibilities there. To be able to capture a beautiful moment in a photo then often make such days perfect.
With an old, manual Praktika reflex camera, equipped with Fuji Velvia slide film, I made the first steps about 35 years ago and had to pay a lot of money. But soon I was able to sell a photo of a climbing friend to a magazine, at that time for about 1,000 DM. Today, in the age of digital stock photography, unthinkable :-)
But the nice feeling when someone has use for one of my pictures has remained. And so I am happy when one or the other picture finds a place on the walls of living rooms or business premises.
