I photograph what moves me. What evokes a feeling. Not a single subject, not a single style, but everything that catches my eye and stirs something within me.
For me, light is the most important element in a photograph. The soft backlight that glows through a coat of fur, the mist that lends a landscape an air of mystery, the single ray of light that pierces a dark space. I’m always searching for that one moment when the light and the subject come together.
Travel nourishes my vision. New surroundings force me to look differently, to be more observant, to be more open to what’s happening around me. The most beautiful photos aren’t taken, they’re found.
My work is atmospheric, calm and honest. No tricks, no excessive editing. Just the moment as it was, with all the feeling it held.
