About Ton Kuijpers

Born and raised in Luyksgstel NB. In Valkenswaard I completed the Havo and then went to study at the graphics school in Eindhoven. After successfully completing this training, I started as an assistant manager / order preparer at the Lakenman & Ochtman printing works in Zierikzee. But soon the province turned out to be too small and I exchanged my job in Zierikzee for a new challenge at the Weasberge printing works in Rotterdam. Again as assistant manager / order preparer.
After a few years I started the evening course Visual Communication next to my work at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. From this 5-year course I followed the third year at the Fachhochschule Hamburg. In 1992 I successfully completed the course and then started as an independent graphic designer. I have been working in this field for more than 25 years.
In addition to design, I have been involved in photography in recent years and in particular in the design of 'photographic' patterns. You can see an impression of this on this website. A complete overview of all patterns can be admired on my website www.photo-graphics-online.com.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
