Welcome in the Urft Valley, the idyllic valley of the Urft in the midlands of the Eifel National Park.
The surrounding nature and cultural background, not only from Roman times, but also cultural and nature experiences stretching from Timor to Svalbard, are often the inspiration for our artistic works such as ceramic sculptures, etchings, (see also: https://helgapohlen.artheroes.de/de) nature and science illustrations for school books and nature information panels.
The artworks shown (except sculptures...) are designed to meet the requirements of different media and are available as high-resolution digital image files in the field of small scientific studies for textbooks and, in particular, our illustrations are available for high-resolution reproductions, e.g. for large museum or exhibition walls. Use rights/licences on our works can be granted for commercial or editorial purposes.
