Photography is something that William de Vries (1975) has been working on since he was fourteen years old. At first with a plastic viewfinder camera, but thanks to his training quickly with an SLR. Nowadays, in addition to digital photography, he also photographs analogue with a large format camera: 'I want every element in my photography to be depicted as sharply as possible. With today's digital cameras and the accompanying lenses you can go a long way, but with an analogue large format camera you can achieve resolutions far beyond a gigapixel. That way the photos get more dynamics and come to life even more'.
