My name is Zeno Swijtink.
For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for nature. I especially enjoy wandering through nature and I like to be guided by my curiosity.
I have been lucky enough to travel through many different countries, often with my camera as a faithful companion. My travels have taken me to remote places on different continents, allowing me to discover the most enchanting landscapes. I particularly enjoy birdwatching and feel privileged to have been able to observe exotic bird species in their natural habitats. Besides spotting rare bird species, I also enjoy observing everyday birds in my local environment. A blackbird singing its morning song or a robin looking curiously at my camera. My passion for photography has not only deepened my love for birds and other living things, but also increased my respect for nature. I am aware that I am a guest in their habitat and try to cause as little nuisance as possible. Every photograph I take is all about waiting for the perfect moment, the right light and the ideal composition. All this requires patience and perseverance. I believe in the concept of "pura vida", pure life, where we enjoy the beauty and simplicity of nature.
