My name is Frank Meeuwisse and I am passionate about Urbex photography.
My first adventure in this field was hospital Bloemendaal. This was followed by many adventures to this day from locations like Sinteranlage, which unfortunately no longer exists to abandoned steel factories (HF4-HF6) that still exist and are out of operation. I also find photographing abandoned houses (maisons in Belgian/French) super cool to do. The fun thing about urbex photography is searching for locations on the internet, finding them when you go out and getting inside, and then when you are back outside without much damage with a camera full of beautiful pictures, it gives you quite a kick when you are back home looking at your photos over a nice beer. Every time, it is a surprise what you will find at a location and how you capture the location in your own way. With my photographs, I want to give people an insight into the fascinating world of the beauty of decay in all its facets.
