My passion for photography revolves around capturing the essence of a moment, stripped of all distractions of colour. I work exclusively with black and white because I believe it forces the viewer to look deeper, beyond the surface. The contrasts, the shadows, the textures; in black and white they really come alive. Seeing the world in shades of grey and finding the beauty in it is a challenge, but it is precisely this challenge that inspires me enormously.
