What is the Wooden ArtFrame™?
The Wooden ArtFrame™ works exactly the same way as our aluminum ArtFrame™ - but with a warm, natural wood look. You assemble the frame once, hang it on the wall, and swap the canvas as often as you like.
The difference lies in the material: while the aluminum frame offers a sleek, modern appearance, the wooden frame brings a warmer, more organic feel to your interior.
Material & color
ArtFrame™ Wood is made from Ayous, the same material as our tray frames. It is lightweight yet sturdy, with a beautiful natural wood grain. The frame is available exclusively in a natural wood color.
Have an aluminum ArtFrame™ at home already? Good news: our canvases fit both the wooden and aluminum frames. This means you can order a wooden frame and place the canvas from your aluminum frame into it - or vice versa. Just make sure you order the correct size!
Assembly & Hanging
Assembling the Frame
The Wooden ArtFrame™ comes with convenient corner connectors. Simply tap them into the frame using a small hammer to securely join the frame pieces together. Easier than it sounds!
Hanging Your ArtFrame™
Your Wooden ArtFrame™ is easy to hang using two screws and the included hanging system. Want to switch artwork later? Simply remove the canvas and insert a new one in just a few minutes.
From 30×30 cm to 130×130 cm – the Wooden ArtFrame™ is custom-made to perfectly fit each piece of artwork.
Acoustic Panels
The Wooden ArtFrame™ is also available with optional sound-absorbing panels behind the canvas. These panels can reduce reverberation and echo by up to 30%, remain completely invisible, and are made from recycled PET bottles. The concept works exactly the same as with the aluminum frame - only the frame itself is different.
Frequently asked questions about the wooden ArtFrame™
When ordering a wooden ArtFrame™, you can choose sound-absorbing panels. These panels are placed invisibly behind the canvas on which your artwork is printed.
The canvas contains tiny holes, allowing sound to pass through the canvas and be absorbed by the sound-absorbing panels. This way, you get a beautiful piece of art and a solution for echo in your home or office.
Yes, our canvases fit both the wooden and aluminum frames.
The wooden ArtFrame™ is delivered as a self-assembly kit and needs to be assembled by you. But with the help of our handy instruction guide (PDF) or video, you'll have it ready in no time. We’ll also send this guide to you by email after you place your order!
