Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘A Second Sun by the Sea’ by Eric van Krieken

On a warm summer evening during the partial solar eclipse of August 12, a remarkable scene unfolded along the coast of Kijkduin. As visitors enjoyed the final moments of daylight on the beach, a distant high-rise building caught the last rays of the sun. The reflection transformed the façade into a brilliant golden beacon, creating the illusion of a second sun glowing on the horizon. A rare combination of nature, light and architecture, captured during a truly unique evening by the North Sea.
