The yaks' fur is ideal for its habitat on the windy plateaus. The rough, long hair is used to make all kinds of utensils: carrier bags, blankets, ropes, etc. The hair also provides the basis for the characteristic tents of the nomads. The poop is used to keep the stove warm at high altitudes where no tree grows anymore.
