Every year large schools of herring migrate to the fjords of northern Norway. This abundance of fish also attracts whales and orcas that feast on the delicious herring for 3 months.
Where the herring turns up is the big question every year, but when the herring is found the orcas and whales follow immediately. In a warm suit you can snorkel in the cold water of 3-4'C and see and often hear these beautiful animals in their natural habitat.
Lived in Amsterdam, but decided in 2018 to pursue his dreams. Currently lives and works in Tonga where he works for a whale snorkeling operator. Favorite are mainly wildlife photography with a great passion for whales and tigers, as well as photographing people and "life". Can wait.. Read more…
