I took this picture in the Leuvenum forest near Harderwijk in the Veluwe. This part of the forest contains deciduous trees and mainly beech trees. On the spot where the fallen tree light was formerly a walking path, because of the flooding of the creek that flows nearby they have moved this walking path, the terrain owner Natuurmonumenten wants to create more natural forest there to by flooding parts of the forest. When I took this photo it was sunny as you can see, I did choose to convert this photo to black and white. By converting to black and white you can see effect between light and shadow in this forest.
