In the picture is an atmosphere candle with flam and its reflection is partly visible on the surface where it lies. The rest is a black background. It is a simple photo with a lot of depth and emotion. Candle as symbol of life that is there and the background that invests all the power in just a candle.
It is a moment to stop, look at it, dive into yourself and experience peace again. Accepting that an emotion can last a long time and that it will disappear again.
Becoming aware of an emotion, which has dug deep into us and sometimes hurts, does that if we accept it and know it well, that next time that emotion becomes less of a burden to us.
It can also be compared to an intimate corner in our home. Sometimes we light a candle and then we have our inner conversations. We sometimes do that with the clouds or trees. But when the weather is a little cold, we find a symbol in our home and we sometimes engage in conversations with that.
For example, a candle is a symbol of giving peace in your mind. And that dark atmosphere is a symbol of depth and intimacy.
I would hang this picture in a beautiful bathroom . Also in a place where I meditate. A gray concrete background would be fine behind it.
