When I stand in front of a blank canvas or, in my case, create from an empty square on my digital table, when I choose a brush or pencil and think about which colour I'm going to use first, an inner image of the emotion I want to convey is being built up at the same time. It's clear to me, but may look completely different to another viewer. The only thing we can hope for is that it awakens something in whoever is in front of it at the time.
I have my own associations about what I paint, what I have seen in myself that I can now share. I hope, of course, that you will also find something that awakens your desire and pleasure in the little that I do.
