What a sight! This wood-armoured damselfly was perched so beautifully on the heather. Drenched in dewdrops, waiting for the sun to dry everything off. The colours are lovely and contrasting too. I put my camera on a tripod and took a focus stack, aiming to get everything in focus. It worked because the damselfly didn’t move. Lucky me!
