I took this photo on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk in the Veluwe. It was quite sunny when I took this photo. The tree what you see is a Scots pine that has since died. Further down on the sand drift you can see more Scots pines. I was standing on a dune that is also used as a viewpoint to look over the Beekhuizer sand. As you can see, quite a few mosses and grasses are starting to grow on this sand flat, this sand drift is right next to the A28 motorway. What you see is a real Veluwe landscape.
