About ‘A long drifting dune on a sand drift’ by Gerard de Zwaan
I took this picture on the Hulshorsterzand in the municipality of Nunspeet on the Veluwe. As you can see on this sand drift there are trees like the Scots Pine but also grasses, mosses and also heather. The sand on this stretch of sand is held by the heath and grass. It is a long piece of dune which is formed by the wind and shrubs.
