On a beautiful cold winter's day, when the world is covered in a blanket of glistening snow and the air is filled with a clear chill, a lonely field cross in the Oy Valley shines like a symbol of hope and faith. Overnight, the snow has enchanted the landscape, and now it glitters like a thousand diamonds in the light of the sun, which rises as a radiant star in the sky.
Behind the snow-covered wooden cross, the sky rises majestically, its peak shrouded in a white blanket that envelops the world in silence. The trees bend under the weight of the snow and nature seems to pause to savour this moment of pure beauty.
In the distance, the sun glows as a radiant star in the firmament, its golden light adding a touch of magic to the scenery and making the snow on the field cross appear like twinkling stars. It is as if heaven itself is pouring its blessing over this sacred symbol and enveloping it in divine splendour.
Near Oberstdorf in the Oberallgäu region, the beauty and majesty of nature is revealed in its purest form. Here, between heaven and earth, you can capture eternity in a single moment, feel the breath of nature and experience the magic of winter in all its splendour.
And as I savour the sight of the field cross in the glistening snow and the majestic backdrop of the shadowy mountain and the radiant sun, I feel grateful for the wonders of this world, for the beauty that surrounds us and for the faith that sustains us, even in the darkest hours.
