About the artwork

Discover the harmony between man and city in this breathtaking surrealist painting. A young woman looks straight at you with an enchanting gaze - her green eyes edged by soft, cool blue highlights. Her face is painted realistically, but from her head springs something unexpected: an explosion of colourful, geometric structures, like a miniature city growing out of her mind.

The transition from skin to architecture is seamless - a synthesis of human and metropolis. As if her mind is inhabited by ideas, buildings and stories. The structure flows slowly down in liquid paint, along her neck and shoulders. The gold and copper lines seem to shape her body, while shades of blue, red, purple and turquoise blend into an undulating symphony of colour.

The work is at once organic and futuristic, a perfect balance between control and release. The vertical drops reinforce the sense that time and identity are slowly flowing out into a larger energy.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
