An icm photo of a path strewn with beech leaves and in the trees some leaves that turn a beautiful yellow in the sun. The colours are often at their best in autumn, especially on a sunny day. I took this photo in Paterswolde. That's in Drenthe, close to Groningen.

I love abstract photography. I take pictures of subjects that most people just walk by. Often these are small things that catch my eye because I find that very beautiful at the time. At home I finish the picture. I look at the cut, the colors, the subject and whether I would like to hang it on the wall myself. Only when I am completely satisfied do I offer the work for sale or do I exhibit it.
