Years ago, East Germany almost certainly had the largest theater network in the world. Ticket prices were deliberately kept low to attract working-class audiences. Many people went to the theater for entertainment. Today, many of these former theaters are abandoned and in disrepair. This is a photo of one of those theaters left to rot but still looking great.
