Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Abandoned hallway against the light’ by Alexander Baumann

This atmospheric photo shows an abandoned-looking hallway that is dramatically emphasised by incident daylight. A sharply defined beam of light falls through the glazed entrance door onto the worn floor, creating strong contrasts between brightness and shadow. The light reflections lead the eye into the depths of the room and lend the motif a mysterious, almost cinematic effect.

The slightly weathered walls and the quiet emptiness of the corridor tell of times gone by and lend the picture a touch of nostalgia and transience. This art photograph lives from its minimalist composition and the impressive lighting, which transforms the otherwise inconspicuous room into an expressive motif.

This motif is ideal for modern living spaces, studios, corridors, hotels or offices where atmosphere and depth are required. It also makes a strong impact in galleries or as a statement piece in minimalist interiors. The picture appeals to lovers of urban photography, architecture and light art in equal measure and invites you to discover your own stories in this quiet moment.
