What is this? Is it a flower, is it a plant? No, it's a tree - actually the most colorful bark I've ever come across. It is from the so-called Rainbow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta). After the rain, the colors are extra saturated and the contrasts extra deep. The rich color shades flow into each other so beautifully that a natural painting is created instantly.
The colors in nature are always very refined; a painter could hardly imitate this. This is a good example of the photos I like to take: filling the screen without editing the colors. In this way I try to pay tribute to the colors of the jungle.
