A flower in a minimalist abstract style, inspired by orchids. There are several different sorts in countless colors. My inspiration came from one of the orchids my mother had on her window sill for many years. She was very proud and fond of them. The illustration is part of a series of single flowers, each inspired by a real flower.
The colored areas are loosened up by textures typical of watercolor paintings, such as waterspots and visible edges.
