About "Abstract self-portrait of the painter in red"

About the artwork

The digital artwork shows an abstract, cubist self-portrait of the painter in dominant colours such as red and purple. It consists of geometric shapes that stylise facial features. A large purple eye with a striking black pupil is the focal point, accompanied by a thick, black eyebrow above it. A lighter-coloured shape on the left symbolises the nose, while a curved area below it suggests a smiling mouth. The background in bright red and the simplified shapes give the picture a modern, artistic look. It is reminiscent of the cubist style, with a hint of pop art influence. The decorative picture is somewhat reminiscent of the works of Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, the pioneers of Cubism. The geometric shapes and the abstracted depiction of facial features are characteristic of this movement, which reached its peak at the beginning of the 20th century, roughly between 1907 and the 1920s. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
