The sun made beautiful golden threads in the water. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom with sand and some stones. Pictures of water are so soothing to me. The wind that makes the water look different every time. Up close you can see the golden threads and you tend to put your hand in the water.

Art on canvas looks great on any wall. It truly comes into its own with paintings featuring sharp brushstrokes.
I've been photographing since the beginning of this century. I am a real autodidact, although I have taken courses and mentorships. I don't try to make the 'standard' picture and am often busy for weeks before the result is as I had in mind.
I would have preferred to have mastered painting, like my great uncle Johan Gabriëlse, but unfortunately I don't have a talent for drawing. With my pictures I try to compensate this a bit.
