"Abstraction: Droplets on a dandelion fluff ball (with turquoise - blue)" is a macro photograph of water droplets on some fluff of a dandelion photographed from diagonally below. In the background you can vaguely see more fluff with droplets. This edited photo has mainly white/ cream and turquoise - blue tones .
In this work is created a somewhat dreamy atmosphere with a sense of depth in the work, this is because a limited depth of field was chosen. But only a few millimeters of the fluff and drops are in focus, and this creates a depth of field effect, among other things.
The droplets also work to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles between the fluffy hairs of the dandelion.
On the left side you can see a piece where fluff has been photographed through them, here a soft light faint glow is created from the fluff, which also nicely softens the core of the dandelion!
