About ‘Aeolian Island Vulcano - Gran Cratere’ by Dieter Meyer
Vulcano is an island of the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the north coast of Sicily, from which the modern word for volcano is derived. In Roman mythology, the island was regarded as the forge of Vulcanus, the Roman god of fire.
