The African lily is a real sun worshipper. Not surprisingly, this plant is common on the Canary Islands and the Portuguese flower island of Madeira. I came across these beautiful flowers on long stems in a Dutch flower garden. For this photo, I used multiple exposures. I took two photos and merged them in the camera into a single photo. I also opted for a high key approach, turning the background white and showing off the colour of the flowers even better. In my album flowers, you will also find a photo of this flower as it is.
