About the artwork

An AgustaWestland Apache attack helicopter of the British Army Air Corps before some big explosions. The Army Air Corps (AAC) is the aviation unit of the British Army. The Boeing AH-64 Apache was initially designed with one mission; destruction of all kinds of ground targets. An integrated information system, in which information is projected onto the helmet visor, allows the aircraft to be used during the day, at night and in adverse weather conditions. The AH-64 is equipped with modern avionics such as target acquisition equipment, night vision equipment, radar jammer, infrared defence system and GPS. The most important component is the Target Acquisition and Designation System (TADS). It allows targets to be found by sight and with infrared, after which they are laser-lighted.
