About ‘All elfin benches’ by Gerard de Zwaan

These elfin benches were sitting on a lying piece of dead wood of a beech tree along a stream. For this photo, I hung my camera under my tripod to get at it, furthermore I used my 85mm macro lens. Since I was working from a tripod anyway, I kept a fairly high aperture and a low iso value, this made the shutter speed relatively slow. I…

Welcome to my shop. My name is Gerard de Zwaan and I was born in 1983 in the Veluwe town of Harderwijk where I grew up and still live. I started photography in 2013. My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own and is now as a spare camera, currently I use a Nikon D7200.
