About the artwork

In this collage of statues from ancient Greece we see a number of figures. The most present woman stands naked in the middle, covered in gold. The woman stands sexy naked with a view on her legs, thighs, belly and breasts. In the work the artist has engraved his name and date in Greek characters.
Gustav Klimt (Baumgarten, now part of Vienna), 14 July 1862 - Vienna, 6 February 1918) was an Austrian symbolist painter, muralist and draughtsman. He is considered the most prominent member of the Vienna Secession, of which he was also chairman for some time. Characteristic of his later works, with which he became best known, is decorative ornamentalism (in which he often also worked with gold leaf) and suggestive-erotic symbolism. He made his name mainly with his female portraits and allegorical works, and he is associated with the Art Nouveau and Art Nouveau movements. His oeuvre is regarded as exemplary of the tension between conservatism and the urge to progress.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
