This day was foggy in the morning at the beginning of November. I grabbed my camera and went for a nice walk in the Speulderbos . I can't name a favorite season, in every season there are photographically interesting subjects to be found. Spring, with the fresh green of the budding leaves and emerging undergrowth and the soft light. Summer, because of the dark beech forests in which on sunny mornings beautiful rays of sunshine can be seen, coming through the foliage. Autumn, because of the overwhelming autumn colours of among others the larch, beech and ferns. And the great variety of mushrooms because of all the dead wood. The winter, in which when snow falls, the forest is transformed into a fairytale world with ice hairs on the dead branches of beech trees.
