The Wijde Aa in the municipality of Kaag and Braassem, located in South Holland, has a rich history dating back to the time of peat extraction and the battle against water. The Wijde Aa was created as a result of peat extraction and peat mining in the region. The excavation of peat created lakes and ponds, including the Wijde Aa. Over the centuries, several farms and settlements developed along the banks of the Wijde Aa. Water management was traditionally a major challenge in this area because of the many waterways and the threat of flooding. In modern times, the Wijde Aa has become a popular destination for recreation and tourism. People enjoy sailing, boating, fishing and other water sports on the lake. Marinas, campsites and holiday homes have sprung up along the shores to cater to the needs of tourists and recreationists. Today, much attention is paid to preserving the natural environment around the Wijde Aa. Nature lovers can enjoy the diverse flora and fauna found in and around the lake. Water quality and environmental protection are important concerns to maintain the ecological balance. All in all, the Wijde Aa has had a long history of human activity and natural development. It has become an important part of the identity and landscape of the municipality of Kaag and Braassem.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
