Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Amsterdam canal’ by Peter de Jong

Amsterdam canal at sunset. The sky is clear and multi-coloured. The water is flat and quiet and therefore it reflects the bridges, houses and trees on the sides of the water. The houses have their lights on as well as the streetlights. The streets are completely empty.
