About "Ancient carved portal of a Vietnamese pagoda"

About the artwork

This photo shows one of the ancient portals of the Chùa Chúc Thánh pagoda in Hội An, Vietnam. Worn by time, this sacred passageway consists of three vaulted openings topped by a roof decorated with animal sculptures and overgrown vegetation. The structure is decorated with Chinese characters and religious symbols painted on ochre columns, while stone lions stand guard on either side of the entrance.
The weathered texture of the walls, the moss that covers them in places and the old wooden doors hint at the age of the place and the history it contains. The light filtered through the trees gives the scene a peaceful, almost mystical atmosphere. This portal marks not only a physical separation, but also a symbolic transition between the secular world and the spiritual universe of the temple.
This architectural vestige, richly decorated despite the effects of time, illustrates the depth of Vietnam's religious heritage and the fusion between nature, spirituality and tradition. A peaceful scene, full of meaning for those who know how to linger.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
