Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), located in Nepal's majestic Himalayas, is one of the world's most iconic and visited attractions. At an altitude of about 4,130 metres, this camp offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including the impressive Annapurna I, the tenth highest mountain in the world, rising to 8,091 metres.

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp usually starts in the city of Pokhara and passes through a diverse landscape of lush subtropical forests, rhododendron forests, charming villages and rugged mountain terrain. The route offers trekkers not only a physical challenge, but also a spiritual journey, interacting with local Gurung and Magar cultures and experiencing traditional Nepali hospitality.

One of the highlights of the trek is reaching Machapuchare Base Camp, named after the sacred "Fishtail" mountain, before climbing further to the actual Annapurna Base Camp. Here, trekkers are rewarded with panoramic views of some of the world's highest peaks, including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machapuchare.
