This antique engraving from around 1900 shows a contingent of echinoderms. The echinoderms (Echinodermata) form a tribe of marine invertebrates. The echinoderms can be recognised by their mostly five-radiate radial symmetry. The tribe includes a number of well-known marine animals such as the starfish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and the sea lilies.
Among others, we see a sea urchin and sea star.
