About "Ardbeg distillery with fisherman's basket on the coast"

About the artwork

On the south coast of Islay lies the Ardbeg distillery, where peat and sea come together in scent and atmosphere. In this photo, which I have edited into a picturesque image, you can see the white-plastered buildings stand out sharply against the soft light of the Scottish sky. In the foreground is a weathered basket, used by local fishermen to extract crabs and lobsters from the rugged coastal waters. For me, that basket, full of texture and history, brings the landscape to life. You can almost smell the sea, hear the lapping of the waves against the stone edge.

What makes this sculpture special for me is the combination of craft and simplicity. The hive and the distillery both tell a story of tradition, of working with the elements, of waiting and harvesting. In the picturesque treatment, these stories come together in soft colours, calm lines and an atmosphere of stillness. No tourism or crowds here, but a quiet moment in a place where craftsmanship is still tangible.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
