Together with the snowdrop and the crocus, the daffodil is the first flower to add colour to the still bare ground after winter. On the Westhoven estate on Walcheren, the entire forest floor is already covered with these yellow beauties by February. It is a delight to walk through them then and enjoy a spring that is coming again
