Astrantia Major in steaming light by Marjolijn van den Berg

This photograph of a Astrantia Major in "steaming light" is a macro photograph of an Astrantia Major (in the Netherlands, this plant is often called Zeeland button). Because steam passes behind the flower, a beautiful structure of white steam is created against the dark background. You can see this clearly when you zoom in on this photograph. To photograph this effectively, the light and the camera must be properly set up and positioned.
The colours make this photograph a beautifully chic and modern work that would look wonderful in a variety of spaces and interior styles. This flower, the Astrantia Major, is one of my favourite flowers to photograph. The beauty and small details of this flower make it ideal for the type of photography I enjoy: macro photography.
This work would look beautiful as wall decoration in a stylish dining room, a chic kitchen, a peaceful bedroom or simply above the sofa as an eye-catcher! (Also beautiful in business spaces such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
