About ‘At Lake Singlis’ by Kilian Schloemp

Lake Singlis near Borken in northern Hesse was once a lignite mining area. After mining ceased in the early 1990s, the landscape was extensively renaturalised and several lakes were created, which are now used as local recreation areas.
