At RM Sotheby's a 1935 Auburn Eight Supercharged Speedster was auctioned in 2016 for $880,000 (approx. 758,000 Euro) including applicable buyer's fee. And this model was built only 2 years from 1935-1936, originally the price was in 1936 from 2.245,- US-Dollar and at that time it was one of the cheapest speedsters in America at the time of Art Deco.
