Amazed, I looked down from the rocks, into the cauldron and back up the rocks on the opposite side. The valley looks like a huge hole in the landscape at this point. Fittingly, this part of the Kleiner Zschand is also called Försters Loch. About 40 meters of altitude difference I saw in front of my eyes. On the north side of the Bärenhorn, where the Kleine Zschand is a wide area enclosed by rocks, the difference is even bigger.
