Bauhaus Signature Edition 6 – Terracotta – Typography and Geometry | Abstract Graphic Art by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

Soft, earthy colours. The word ‘BAUHAUS’ forms a key visual element and is surrounded by simple geometric shapes. A terracotta-coloured area, an ochre-yellow circle and a petrol-blue triangle provide splashes of colour within an otherwise calm composition of beige, green and neutral shades.

The design plays on the tension between typography and abstract form. The bold letters give the work a clear graphic structure, whilst the loose blocks of colour provide rhythm and movement. The result is a modern poster that is both recognisable and decorative.

The combination of terracotta and natural colours makes this Bauhaus-inspired artwork particularly well-suited to an interior where warmth and design come together. The piece complements wooden furniture, beige walls, linen, ceramics and other natural materials. At the same time, its graphic aesthetic fits in well with modern, minimalist, industrial and Mid-Century Modern interiors.

As wall art, this piece can be a distinctive eye-catcher in the living room, study, hall, studio or creative space. The vertical composition works well on a narrow wall, next to a cupboard or as part of a collection of geometric posters.

For lovers of Bauhaus art, typography, geometric art, abstract posters and terracotta wall art, this design offers a powerful combination of history and contemporary design. The warm colour accents create atmosphere, whilst the clean lines and shapes give the whole a crisp, graphic look. An expressive wall decoration with a distinctive design character.
