Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Beach cottages at Cape North’ by Wim van der Geest

As with the other beach battlements, there are also a number of beach houses at Kaap Noord, near Paal 33 on Texel. Often beach cottages are rented out to tourists, but all these cottages are privately owned. That's why people paint them in cheerful colours, which gives them a cozy look.
