One of my favourite places in the Netherlands is the dune area Meijendel. A nice variety of forest, dune, beach and sea. This photo was taken in the late afternoon on a cold February day. The light was very beautiful that day and I wanted to capture that.

For me photography means capturing images to tell a story. A story about how beautiful the world can be and how special even the smallest details are. Actually it is like writing, but instead of using words I take photographs.
