The Amur leopard, also called Amur leopard, Siberian leopard or Far Eastern leopard, is a species that lives in natural habitat in parts of Siberia, North Korea and North-East China. The situation of this species is very worrisome and only dozens of Amur leopards still live in the wild.
The plants in the foreground form a nice frame around the panther. The use of a long telephoto lens ensures that the panther comes into sharp focus in the photo and at the same time a nice foreground blur can be seen.
Very lucky to have spotted this Amur panther. Glad I was able to take this photo at the right time and place.
